My Best Buddy, Jack

The one beside me is my buddy, jack.

OUR STORY

I know him during Sec 2, both of us is from NCC. During sec 1, don't really know him, that time to me he is just a guy who is very fit who can run very fast.During Sec 2, we start to know more about each other, from a friend to a buddy, he is the one who make me have lots of aim in NCC, we also share a common dream which is to get in COMMANDOS UNIT when we get in NS and be a COMMANDOS OFFICER.I think that the reason why we became buddy.

Both of us gone though lots of shit in NCC during sec 2 ,During PDS and NCC time, can still remenber the HQ parade squard that we always have our training over there, under the bloddy hot sun, really miss those day. During our school NCC training I think the most tough time we had was in sec 2, our platoon sgt was really mad, like to play us, they hate us and we hate them too. we always support each other and gone though the shit together. But at that time lots of of platoon has quit NCC cause of our Platoon sgt. A lot of us got hurt because of him. life was really hard when we are under him.

Sec 3, time for us to take over the unit, Both of help each other to correct each other mistake that we make and aim for the top two post's CSM AND ACSM. And at the end we got it. we start to learn how to be a good leader and learn how to handle the unit. starting everything was really good. All the hard work we put in had finally pay off.

Here come SPEC course 4 days, our sgt rank, our army ncc badge, Both of us fight really very hard in the course. and he got a OOC(Pverall Outstanding Cadet), in the course there is about 250 cadets, he is the best out of the 250 cadets and I got a POC(Platoon Outstanding Cadet), this make us more sure that the CSM AND ACSM post is ours. we thought all the hard work we put in has really pay off but ahead of us there is a lot more us that will lead us to a sad story that no one expected.

Return back to our unit with our SGT rank, lots of thing happen for example taking our PDS unit, our senior want to take back the unit and both of us fought back cause we don't think they have the right to take back. we even quarrel wit our spec and even our CLT officer, that time during NCC day parade training our senior wanted to scold us and punish us for some reason. Lots of our platoon mate came to me and Jack and keep on asking us how cause that time everyone already thought that both of us is the one one who going to lead the rest of them. So at the end when they wanted to scold us we fight back we scold them back then at the end we had a quarrel then our seniors nv punish us.

Time to take over. we took over the unit and both of us got the top two post. thing was good, starting. there was one training where our sir came to our school. then I use my hand to push one of my cadet down to the floor wanted him to kiss the ground. At that time, the sir scolded me infront of the cadets for what i had done.Then jack help me to fight back cause the should not scold me infront of the cadets. After that thing, the sir hardly come to our school again. but still that time was still part of my fault.

POP (passing out parade) This was the time that we really going to take over that Jack and I looking forward for. but I know that he is going to leave singapore to New Zeland and we cannot let our Sir know. If he know he will never allow him to take over the CSM and ACSM post or even cannot take part of the parade. But dono how our sir found out and ask me tell him that he can't take over the post he want. Jack was really very sad this time so during our math lesson we went to look for our Sir and try to convince him to let him take over. But at the end the ans was still NO, and someone will replace him.

Went back to class, with sad face and sad ans, saw our math teacher and we was been call by her. got scolded by her and wanted to find out the reason why we skip lesson, we told her is because of NCC and she scold us again, saying that jack got an OOC and act very big saying that this OOC is no big deal. and ask us study or NCC more importent and ask us why must use her lesson to see our sir, Jack reply was "cause i going to leave singapore" walk off with tears coming out. this was my first time sawing him crying. It really hurt deep inside his heart. This taking over really mean alot to us.3 years of shit is all because of this, Can't she understand us, jack is leaving!!! and he can't take over, all the shit that we went though, the best we did, our blood and sweat that we give in, is all gone now. The reason why we skip lesson don't go for lesson is all about taking over we need to ask our sir thats all! why!? must she say jack got an OOC and act very big saying that this OOC is no big deal..no! that OOC he earn, it is with all the bloor and sweat he put in! All those word she say really hurts alot. At the end we even got 2 days detention. Don't understand why cannot take over but can go detention.

During th passing out parade, he choose to sit at a side and look at us cause
he think he suppose to command the parade not being commanded, I was not going to take over the CSM or ACSM post for some other reason. During the parade when the one who is going to replace him mach pass him and take over the post that he should take, he cry, it must have hurt a lot when the hardwork put in and the pay go to the others. His friend cry before he cry, The friend around him is very good friend, understand how he feel, at that time was really sad. tears kept on droping.

The day has come, he going to leave singapore.A lot of his friend cry, that day to me starting was like nothing but once he step in the check in point, I cry too, so sudden I miss him, alot of them cry too, even ah ham cry. that day was really a sad day tears kept on droping. that time was when his ncc life end. the distance between us and his bast friend getting far apart but our heart is always togerher as long as we remenber each other.

All the hardship we put in,
The time, our sweat and blood,
Everything that we put in.
We always thought we will get back something,
But at the end what we thought,
Was all wrong,
What we get was those sad times,
Tears that drop,
That is not worth it for our,

But I think the best thing I get,

KILO Platoon, it is something like DAF(Deyi arms force) haha childish. But this is how KILO member life is, We play really hard, and have lots of fun. That why our life is fun. I am part of this kilo platoon, life is really fun, we joke a lot and tok lots of craps in class or even outside in class. All of the sudden we can just shout at each other like those army pattern. All those who higher rank will alway shout at those lower rank for no reason, it means for fun ar. SGT terence is always the one kana scold but he is also the only one who dare scold those people higher then him. Then CPT u lok always say that he is the one who control the F16, GEN Jason is the head of KILO Platoon, LTA Daniel is the one always got scolded by SGT Terence haha. SSG Beng leong is KILO Platoon medic, SSG yong meng is the one who always he is in charge of KILO Platoon special force. CPL Kelvin new member. haha KILO platoon is really full of crap and laughter. But very childish. but all of us like this kind of life. easy life. KILO also have have its own band form by GENERAL JASON, CAPTAIN U lok, Lieutent Daniel, Warrant Officer Kenny, seagent Terence, Corporal Rajiv. The band name is call 6'o clock!!!
